The Tri-plex Platform uses many different strategies to provide reliability.

hardware design

The Tri-plex Platform is based on a telephony-grade, distributed client/server architecture offering 99.999% availability. For maximum compatibility and long-term value, all the components and interfaces Tri-plex uses are standard.

database integrity

Database integrity, including simultaneous updates, referential integrity, monitoring, reporting, and control is provided by the Advantage database management system.

high reliability

The Primary Server is fault tolerant. It contains all customer data and call records and features an availability of 99.99 percent. The server is composed of industry standard components, is PFC (Power Factor Correction) Certified (i.e., approved for use in Europe), and operates at RAID Level 5.

Tri-plex Prepaid can be implemented with an ultra-high reliability Stratus FT Server. This server is logically divided in a manner that eliminates single points of failure and provides 99.999% availability.
