financial services : ValueCard

Create a stored value card program using Tri-plex's prepaid, third party ValueCard Service. Gift cards, loyalty cards, payroll cards and "vale" (i.e., voucher) cards are all ways to generate revenue, increase repeat business, and give your customers or employees the convenience they desire.

Two projects currently underway in our Mexico market are the Lemon Bar project and the Dinero Extra project.

Lemon Bar

The Lemon Bar card is a combination loyalty and sponsored advertising card. Every time a Lemon Bar cardholder makes a cash, credit or debit card purchase in a Lemon Bar establishment, the Lemon Card is presented and it accumulates money up to a preset maximum balance on the account. This balance can then be used to pay for any kind of purchase at any Lemon Bar establishment. There are two Lemon Bar cards currently offered: the VIP card, which accumulates at 15% of the purchase, and the regular card, which accumulates at 10% of the purchase.

The Lemon Bar card is a private label card which is issued by Tri-plex and its partner VirCom and is provided as a turn-key solution.

Dinero Extra

Dinero Extra cards are benefits cards provided to cardholders of Visa and Master Card credit and debit cards issued by Santander Bank, Scotiabank, Banorte, HSBC, and Spira Bank, the member banks of PROSA in Mexico.

Cardholders accumulate benefits in the form of “dinero extra” when they use their bankcards (Visa or Master Card) at participating merchants. The Dinero Extra Card is used to redeem benefits for merchandise or services at any merchant participating in the Benefits Carnet loyalty program. We currently have over three million Dinero Extra accounts on file.
